What a single implant costs in Calgary

A single implant with its crown generally runs between $3,300 and $5,000 across the city — and it's often quoted as two separate line items, so the full figure only becomes clear later.

Typical across Calgary$3,300 – $5,000
One Dental$2,800

Between $500 and $2,200 less — for the implant and the crown together

Both figures cover a single implant and its crown. Cases needing preparatory work cost more anywhere, including here — your free consultation confirms your figure in writing before you decide.

What the $2,800 covers

No line-by-line surprises after the fact. Here's what's in the price and what happens next.

  • The implantThe post that replaces the root of the missing tooth.
  • The crownThe visible tooth, fitted once the implant has healed.
  • Your consultationFree, and there's no obligation to book treatment afterwards.
  • A written planYou'll know the cost and the timeline before you decide anything.

Individual cases vary — some mouths need preparatory work before an implant can be placed. If that applies to you, we'll tell you at the consultation, in writing, before you commit.

How it works

Three appointments, spread over a few months while the implant heals.

  1. Free consultation

We examine the area, take a scan, and confirm whether an implant is the right option for you. You leave with a written price and timeline.

  2. Placing the implant

The implant is placed, then left to heal and fuse with the bone. We'll talk you through comfort options beforehand.

  3. Fitting your crown

Once healing is complete, the crown is fitted and matched to your surrounding teeth.

Who you'll see

Your consultation is with the dentist who would do the work — not a treatment coordinator.

If an implant isn't the right answer for your case, he'll say so and talk you through the alternatives. You leave with a written plan either way.

We're open seven days a week, including evenings — so a consultation doesn't have to cost you a day off work.

Questions people ask

If yours isn't here, call us — the front desk can answer most of them in a couple of minutes.

Is $2,800 really the full price?
It covers the implant and the crown, which are the two costs people most often find split apart and quoted separately. Some cases need preparatory work first. If yours does, you'll be told at the free consultation and given the full figure in writing before you decide.
How long does the whole process take?
Usually a few months, because the implant needs time to fuse with the bone before the crown goes on. It's not a single visit. Your consultation will give you a timeline for your specific case.
Will it hurt?
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic. We'll go through the comfort options with you at the consultation and answer any concerns before you commit to anything.
Why is this less than the quotes I've had elsewhere?
Largely because the implant and the crown are quoted together as one figure, rather than as two line items you add up later. Bring any quote you've been given to your consultation and we'll go through it with you, part by part, so you can compare like for like.
What if I've been told I can't have an implant?
It's worth a second look. Bone loss and gum health are the usual reasons, and both are sometimes treatable. The consultation is free, so a second opinion costs you nothing but the visit.
Do I have to book treatment after the consultation?
No. The consultation is free and there's no obligation. You're welcome to take the written plan away and think about it.
